Cafe Pride is Chicago's coffeehouse for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender youths, and their friends, 17-21 years old. We are a youth outreach of Pride Ministries. Cafe Pride is open from 8:00 pm to midnight on Friday nights. Some nights we're busy; most nights we have small conversation groups. Cafe Pride is a safe place to: bring friends, meet new people, listen to your tunes, and relax.
Other Information
Lake View Presbyterian Church is a More Light Church. More Light Presbyterians seek the full participation of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people of faith in the life, ministry and witness of the Presbyterian Church (USA).
Lake View Presbyterian Church is called in this time and place to proclaim the love and word of God and put them into action. To this end, we seek: to provide a worship environment and an educational forum where all members of the community can come for spiritual revitalization and guidance; to be a catalyst for change in our community that enables God's purpose; to nurture and sustain one another as we strive to lead lives consistent with the good news of the gospel made known to us in Jesus Christ.
