As we move into a new future, our dream is to develop a new facility for ministry that includes the following possible outreach elements:

  1. Create 501c3 not-for-profit status for "Mosaic Community Services"
  2. Older Adult outreach & services (e.g., education/support for Alzheimer's...)
  3. Food-Oriented outreach & service (e.g., soup kitchen, community luncheons, cafe...)
  4. Nurturing, Safe activities for Children (music classes, Montessori school, etc.)
  5. Fitness Center (we provide space, partner with other group to run; e.g., YMCA)
  6. Banquet Facilities available for rent to community
  7. Green Roof (let's be the first church w/eco-friendly efficient rooftop!)
  8. Promote Reconciling Congregation status to welcome gay & lesbian people, including displaying the Rainbow symbol.

Our vision is to become a new church for Chicago's North Side that reveals God's love and renews people's lives. We aspire to connect urban people spiritually through the worship, nurture, and service of an inclusive Christian community. We affirm that all people, whatever their gender, age, race, status, and sexual orientation, are individuals of sacred worth.
