About the Night Ministry

The Night Ministry is a non-profit, non-denominational social service organization  that creates hope throughout the communities we serve. The Night Ministry listens to the needs of people we meet on Chicago's nighttime streets - regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or social status. One population we are particularly involved with is homeless and at-risk youth, many of whom are LBGTQ.

Founded in 1976 by 18 congregations, The Night Ministry now is supported by corporations, foundations, individuals, and many, many congregations of varying faith traditions.
